Anniversary Adventure

Bob and I have been on the road for a few weeks traveling on what we call “Our Anniversary Adventure”
We are traveling with two other couples who also are celebrating their 45th!
Our destination is the Canadian Maritime Provinces.
We thought it might be fun to document these travels and share them with you.

We met the other two couples, Lois and Norm Showers and Kay and Frank Crebs
in New York and traveled for awhile and stayed the first night in a Wal Mart parking lot!
This is a courtesy of WalMart for RVers and truckers in many areas but you have to check first.

We traveled through lovely small towns in Massachusetts with beautiful manicured gardens and made our way to Maine. The bumpy roads made our closet doors, shower door, and yes dishwasher open. With the help of clamps and duck tape we managed better and arrived just outside of Bar Harbor where we stayed 3 days.

Lobster Cages

These cages are in most yards around the area.

A serious pastime for individuals and business!

As we drove around the area, there are the many sights that remind us of what this area is really about.......LOBSTERS

I enjoyed both photographing these reminders and of course the final product!

Schoodie Point

We stopped to walk along the beach and watch the gushing waves wash up against the beautiful rocks.

A beautiful view of Bar Harbor, Me. from the top of Cadillac Mt. in Acadia National Park, Mt. Desert Island.
After seeing this 30 years ago, it still is just as beautiful!!

The view is shared with my friends, Kay and Lois who also are celebrating their 45th anniversary.
